The executives of England Farms, Inc. have over 100 years combined experience in the poultry industry. Jack England, a World War II veteran pilot, envisioned the future growth of the poultry market. After finding success in various sectors of the poultry business, he founded England Packing Company, Inc. in 1954 as a fully integrated poultry operation. In 1968, Mr. England sold his broiler grow out operation along with his processing plant in Pine Bluff, Arkansas and focused the company's efforts on buying and selling "heavy hens" and broiler hatching eggs.

Subsequently, England Packing Company served to broker and transport eggs from suppliers to its customers. As the company's domestic customer base grew, England Packing Company developed international markets for its product. In 1989, following several years of over 30% growth in export business, highlighted by a 1988 contract to supply 40 million eggs to the Middle East, the US Department of Commerce awarded England Packing Company the Presidential "E" Award for excellence in exporting.

As the company's reputation for excellent customer service grew and demand for its product increased, so did the need for a reliable supply of high quality hatching eggs. In 1990, England Farms, Inc. was established. Today, under the leadership of Jay England, President, England Farms, Inc. is a producer and global marketer of the finest broiler hatching eggs available.
